Buffalo Bayou Partnership and Writers in the Schools are hosting celestial and lunar-inspired poetry performances under the ever-changing Lunar Cycle Lighting along Buffalo Bayou. There will be a poetry writing workshop (limited registration), followed by free curated open mic performances, open to the public, featuring spoken word poetry by Houston area poets.

Environmental philosopher, writer, and frequent artistic collaborator, Timothy Morton, will discuss his contribution to We Are the Asteroid III, a public artwork on view in Buffalo Bayou Park through September 8th.
