The Bayou City Music Series resumes this fall with free performances at Discovery Green, Emancipation Park and The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park. The concert series, made possible by the Kinder Foundation, honors the great jazz, blues and zydeco musicians of Houston and Southeast Texas.

Find out which birds and other critters are attracted to the bats during their nightly emergence. We cannot guarantee hawks will be on the job, but make sure to bring your binoculars. It will be hard to catch the action without them!
Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership and the University of Houston Downtown for Unsilent Night! Experience this festive and interactive holiday event in the great outdoors. Unsilent Night is a sound sculpture created when many individuals simultaneously play one of four music tracks by composer Phil Kline. The procession will be leaving from UHD down to the trails along Buffalo Bayou around 7pm.
