Funds raised at these signature events provide essential operating funds for Buffalo Bayou Partnership and enable our non-profit organization to continue creating, stewarding, and programming vital parks and trails along Houston’s most significant natural waterway.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership Regatta

MARCH 21, 2026

The BBP Regatta is the largest canoe and kayak race in Texas, stretching 15 miles from San Felipe (just west of Voss) to downtown. Finish line festivities at Allen’s Landing include music, lunch for participants, and an awards ceremony. Paddlers, ages 12 and up, are encouraged to participate in this longstanding Houston tradition in support of Buffalo Bayou.

Cocktails in Bloom

May 14, 2026

This fifth annual gathering in support of BBP will be held at the Warehouse at Turkey Bend (5803 Navigation Blvd). Come out to enjoy a fun evening of specialty cocktails, tasty bites from local favorites, and live music while contributing to Buffalo Bayou Partnership’s work of creating and caring for dynamic parks and trails along Houston’s historic waterway!

Colorful, cool attire is encouraged.

KBR Kids Day on Buffalo Bayou

OCTOBER 2026

KBR Kids Day is a free annual event for the entire community. Thousands of children and their families will gather along Buffalo Bayou to experience a full day of fun with exciting activities for all ages.

Buffalo Bayou Partnership Gala

NOVEMBER 5, 2026

Join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for our annual gala, a memorable evening outdoors.  Guests will enjoy cocktails and a seated, all in support of BBP’s work towards a more connected and welcoming waterfront for all of Houston.

Tables for ten guests are:  $25,000; $15,000; $10,000; and $6,500. Individual tickets are: $1,500; $1,000; and $650.
