Enjoy free, one-hour walking tours presented by BBP and Katy Prairie Conservancy, Buffalo Bayou – from Mastodons to Marathons, taking place the 3rd Saturday of each month. Led by Texas Master Naturalists, the discussion will highlight how the landscape and ecology of 19th century Texas created Houston, as well as the importance of prairies in rebuilding this astonishing and all but vanished ecosystem.
