Lunch & Learn: Bird-Friendly Spaces

Join us downtown at the Sunset Coffee Building (1019 Commerce St.) during your lunch hour to learn all about birds in your neighborhood, how to identify them, and ways to provide a safe environment for a variety of bird species.

Guests are welcome to bring a lunch.

Today’s Topic: You can make your home, office, and urban spaces more bird-friendly by planting native trees, shrubs, and flowers that provide food and shelter for birds. Find out which plantings are recommended and learn how to create a haven for local and migratory birdlife.

Cost: $5

Free for BBP and Houston Audubon Members, Master Gardeners and Texas Master Naturalists

Those in attendance will receive a native plant.
