SUMMARY:Volunteer Workday: Garver Park
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers\, ages 9 and up\, are invited to join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for a volunteer day at Garver Park. Whether volunteering as an individual or a small group\, your efforts will lead to a healthier environment and a more aesthetically pleasing amenity for all to enjoy. \nVolunteers will help with a variety of tasks\, including but not limited to: trash pick-up\, mulching and weed removal. We do ask that all volunteers bring their own work gloves. All other necessary work tools will be provided by BBP. \nTime: 8:30 to 11:30 am \nMeeting Location / Parking: Details will be provided after registration. \nInterested individuals and small groups can sign up here. With support from Olipop Prebiotic Soda and United by Blue\, we can help our Clean & Green team to intercept this trash before it ends up in the ocean. Join us at Allen’s Landing for this bayou cleanup and afterwards enjoy a free lunch\, sustainable giveaways from United by Blue and\, of course\, a cold can of Olipop! \nAll necessary clean up equipment\, including gloves\, will be provided\, although you are welcome to bring your own. \nFree Registration
