DESCRIPTION:Ht/X by Luke Savisky\nCounterCurrent Collaboration with Buffalo Bayou Partnership and Aurora Picture Show \nDate: Tuesday\, April 14\nTime: 8:30 – 10 pm\nLocation: Allen’s Landing (1001 Commerce Street)\nParking: Free street parking available after 6 pm\nCost: Free but reservations for tickets encouraged. \nCounterCurrent kicks off with Ht/X\, a live video spectacle on the underside of downtown’s Allen’s Landing Bridge by Austin-based multimedia artist Luke Savisky. The bridge’s arch will become a huge movie montage against the night sky; a watery reflection of the life along the river\, a window through time and possibly even a passage to an inner world. \nAfterwards\, head on over to OKRA Charity Saloon for the CounterCurrent Opening Night Party! Mix and mingle alongside festival artists\, fellow patrons\, and locally-minded Houstonians. Drinks and light bites courtesy of the Mitchell Center. \nAbout CounterCurrent: CounterCurrent is a free festival of bold experimental art.
