SUMMARY:Night Light
DESCRIPTION:Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) and Aurora Picture Show present Night Light\, an evening of free video art along a ¾ mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou East trails. Houston artists Julia Barbosa-Landois\, Marcelese Cooper\, and Input/Output have been commissioned to create new\, site-specific\, media art works for a landing\, an understructure of a bridge\, and decommissioned gravel silos along the waterfront. These works\, along with music and community food trucks and vendors\, will be connected by paved pathways for walking and biking. Join us any time between 7:30 and 10pm for this festive\, uniquely Houston experience! \nRegistration is encouraged\, but not required. \nInterested in volunteering? View shifts and fill out the form here. \n  \nParking:\nParking is located on Canal St.\, east of Jensen Dr. There is also street parking along Bayou Parkview/Kennedy Dr. to Middle St. View the parking map here. \n  \nNight Light locations:\nTrail entrances are located 333 S. This event is free\, but we’d love to know you’re coming. Register on our website. Ben Chavez is an accomplished piano/vocal entertainer and Broadway actor who returned to Houston this past year. Ben has recently performed with the Radio City Rockettes and in several national tours of Broadway productions. \n  \nin honor of Mother’s Day\, BBP is offering a special perk: make a tax-deductible donation of $150 or more by Friday\, May 6th and receive reserved seating and complimentary bubbly beverage (sparkling wine or water) for mom at Piano in the Park.
