Please follow the link below for our regular Sound Healing Meditation schedule. \nImmerse yourself in a seasonal meditative experience in the Cistern and celebrate the Winter Solstice\, the “rebirth of the sun.” Find your center to the tranquil sounds of singing bowls and wind chimes played by Saumil Manek. You will also be surrounded by Cistern Illuminated\, a special winter lighting installation created by artist and engineer Kelly O’Brien. \nGuests should bring their own cushions or mats and water only in a non-glass container. We will be taking an in-person waiting list on a first-come-first-served basis beginning exactly 30 minutes prior to each performance time. \nExperience live choral performances\, Voices of Light\, in the cavernous Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. The Schola Cantorum of downtown’s Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart offers a 20-minute journey through centuries of music\, from 4th-century chant to the works of Hildegard von Bingen and ethereal modern compositions\, including those by the Co-Cathedral’s own Crista Miller.
