SUMMARY:Sound Healing Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Find your center and practice meditation in the spacious and tranquil Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern. Offered in collaboration with Union is Creation\, this meditation series will feature the use of singing bowls and wind chimes to encourage mindfulness and connectivity. \nGuests should bring their own cushions or mats and water only in a non-glass container. No food or non-water drinks are allowed inside the Cistern. Sound Healing Meditation can be loud for those with sensitive hearing. Earplugs will be available for purchase in the visitor’s center. \nCost: $15 \nPurchase Tickets

DESCRIPTION:Buffalo Bayou Partnership is teaming up with three Houston parks to bring you Jazzy Sundays\, a series of FREE\, outdoor jazz concerts. The series celebrates the vibrancy and rich tradition of jazz and the incredible Houstonians who preserve the artform. \nFamily-friendly concerts will be held Sundays\, March 3\, 10\, 17 and 24 at Emancipation Park; every Sunday in April at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park; and Sundays\, May 5\, 12 and 26 and June 2 at Discovery Green from 5-7 p.m. \nJazzy Sundays is made possible by a grant from the Kinder Foundation. \nLocation: The Water Works Lawn in Buffalo Bayou Park (105-B Sabine St.) \nLineup: \n\nApril 7: Ghost-Note with Monterey Jazz @ TSU All-Stars\nApril 14: Free Radicals with Hot Box\nApril 21: R&D Lab with Lolade\nApril 28: Chief Adjuah with Sal Capone\n\nAttendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs and blankets. \nFREE REGISTRATION
