DESCRIPTION:Sail the scenic waterway on a 90-minute\, guided tour from downtown to Waugh Drive Bridge and back to watch the emergence of the 250\,000+ Mexican free-tailed bats that live under the bridge. \n  \nOur knowledgeable guide will share details about the bats’ eating patterns\, behavior and contributions to the bayou’s ecosystem. DESCRIPTION:Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) and Aurora Picture Show present Night Light\, an evening of free video art along a ¾ mile stretch of Buffalo Bayou East trails. Houston artists Julia Barbosa-Landois\, Marcelese Cooper\, and Input/Output have been commissioned to create new\, site-specific\, media art works for a landing\, an understructure of a bridge\, and decommissioned gravel silos along the waterfront. These works\, along with music and community food trucks and vendors\, will be connected by paved pathways for walking and biking. Join us any time between 7:30 and 10pm for this festive\, uniquely Houston experience! \nRegistration is encouraged\, but not required. \nInterested in volunteering?
