2011 Annual Fund: Celebrating 25 Years

Celebrating its 25th anniversary this year, Buffalo Bayou Partnership has a history of significant accomplishments including substantial capital improvement projects, land acquisition, water quality initiatives, and programming and events. We would not be where we are today without the tremendous support we have received over the years from friends like you.    

By years end, with a generous $30 million catalyst gift from Houston’s Kinder Foundation, the largest donation in the history of Houston’s park system, Buffalo Bayou Partnership will finalize design of Buffalo Bayou Park –Shepherd to Sabine Project.  Construction will begin in mid-2012. 

As we celebrate 25 terrific years and move ambitiously ahead, we are counting on you. Your support provides crucial funding for the operation of bayou greenspace, allowing us to program and enhance over 10-square miles. 

As little as $5 or $10 to the Annual Fund can help us maintain the trails, remove trash and debris from the waterway, and attract thousands of Houstonians and visitors to the banks of Buffalo Bayou for programming and events.
