Young Professionals To Clean Up Buffalo Bayou
WHO:
Bayou Buddies, an affiliate of Buffalo Bayou Partnership comprised of young professionals interested in transforming Houston's neglected waterfront into an active and vibrant center, enriching the lives of its residents and attracting visitors from throughout the region and beyond
RedBuds, the group of environmentally and community conscious young Houstonians that serve as a donor and volunteer group committed to aiding Trees For Houston in the reforestation of Houston’s urban spaces
WHAT:
Roll up your sleeves and rock the parkway with the Bayou Buddies and RedBuds as they plant trees and clean up Buffalo Bayou at the 5th Annual Planting on the Parkway. Bring a shovel and assist our young professionals improve habitat quality along the Bayou making Houston cleaner and greener. Snacks and cold beverages from St. Arnold Brewery will be provided.

WHERE:
Japhet Creek Park, located east of downtown 4601 Clinton at Emile Street (exit Waco off of I-10 and take a left at Clinton Drive – Emile is on your right.
WHAT ELSE:
The event is free but limited to 100 volunteers, please RSVP to Jessalyn Giacona, Volunteer and Outreach Coordinator at jgiacona@buffalobayou.org or 713.752.0314 ext. 4.
Please bring your own shovel and gloves, because supplies will be limited at the event
