Upcoming Buffalo Bayou History Hikes 2008 Rediscovering Allen's Landing Sunday, January 13 2-4pm Meet at Allen’s Landing Park, 1001 Commerce (at Main Street) Buffalo Bayou Partnership and the Greater Houston Preservation Alliance (GHPA) invite you to explore Houston’s birthplace, Allen’s Landing and learn Buffalo Bayou’s role in the city’s development during a guided history hike. How much: $7 GHPA Members $10 Non-memebers (cash or check) What else: Please arrive by 1:30 p.m. on the day of the tour in Allen’s Landing Park, 1001 Commerce to be divided into groups. The tour begins at 2 p.m. The last tour group leaves at 2:10 p.m. Parking: Parking is free on downtown streets on Sundays. Paid parking is available in nearby lots.
