The Buffalo Bayou Partnership incorporates an element of public art into all of its projects.

The Design Division works to attract performing and visual art to the bayou. These art works along Buffalo Bayou help create a further dialogue between the historic central artery and the community at large. The bayou also offers several public venues for artists – from the Buffalo Bayou ArtPark to the Sunset Coffee Building.

The Design Division is currently developing a financial and strategic plan for ongoing programs to attract new artists to create works for the bayou and to develop educational outreach programs to introduce new audiences to contemporary art.
